High Holy Days

The High Holy Days are just around the corner.  The Erev of Rosh Hashanah is on Wednesday, September 8th and Kol Nidrei is on Friday, September 17th.  We begin 5771, our New Year, with our new Rabbi, Stephanie Alexander.  This is a joy-filled time at KKBE.

Each year our members honor the High Holy Days with donations which support the operations of our congregation.  This year, more than ever, we appreciate your contributions.

YIZKOR MEMORY BOOK

We honor loved ones during the Yizkor Memorial Service on Yom Kippur.  Our KKBE tradition is to publish a book each year in which we write the names of those who are no longer present, but still precious to us.

We distribute the Yizkor Memorial Book on Yom Kippur, when according to tradition, the Book of LIfe and Death is still open.  As we remember and inscribe the names of those who have gone from our circle of family and friends, we acknowledge the connection that continues.
