Shabbat evening services are held every
Friday evening at 8:00
P.M. The first Friday of each month is
set aside specifically for a Family Worship Service (7:00 P.M.), but
children are welcome and encouraged to attend all services. Shabbat
evening services are followed by an Oneg Shabbat, a social period
during which the warmth of Sabbath fellowship is enjoyed by all who
attend. A stimulating discussion, film or musical presentation is
sometimes offered after evening Shabbat services. Saturday morning services are held at
11:00 A.M.
Bar/Bat Mitzvah services take place on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings. Please see the Temple Calendar or call the temple office at (843) 723-1090 for confirmation of service times (during non office hours, press 2 for the worship schedule). This recording will mention the worship times for the current week's Friday and Saturday services.
Services are held for all occasions in the Jewish calendar year. The High Holy Day period begins with Erev Rosh Hashanah and concludes with Yom Kippur, after which we gather as a congregation to break the fast.

We observe holidays and festivals in ways that bring us closer together as a congregational family. During Sukkot we gather at our beautiful Sukkah for services. We consecrate our newly enrolled students on Simchat Torah. We hold creative and joyous Chanukah and Purim services, often preceded by a congregational dinner celebration. A lively communal Seder is held the second night of Passover. We observe Shavuot in conjunction with Confirmation. Inspiring services are held on Yom Hashoah to commemorate the Holocaust and on Yom Ha-atzma-ut to commemorate Israel Independence Day.
