KKBE Hires New Executive Director

March 30th, 2018

It is my pleasure to announce that Steve Bram has accepted the position of Executive Director at KKBE. Steve has a Master of Science in Social Administration with a Specialization in Family and the Child, and 15 years of executive experience at three congregations in various parts of the country. One of those congregations was in the South and one of those congregations had an historic sanctuary, giving Steve valuable expertise in areas that are important to us as a congregation.  We are also confident that Steve will provide us with stable leadership for the coming years.

We have a vision for KKBE.  A place where we welcome everyone wherever they are on their Jewish journey. A place where we value and respect our history enough to strive towards a sustainable Jewish future in Charleston where KKBE is still vibrant and relevant. We believe Steve Bram will help us achieve these goals.

As we begin our Passover celebrations, I would ask you all to think about your vision for KKBE. How do you see our future? How can you help our community achieve this vision?  When Steve arrives, I hope you will drop by the office and introduce yourself and help him become acclimated to our KKBE community. We are all very excited to have Steve join us as we begin this new chapter.

Chag Sameach,
